Inozyme Pharma is a biotechnology company committed to developing novel medicines for the treatment of rare diseases characterized by mineral imbalances, which lead to over calcification of soft tissues and under mineralization of bone. We are singularly focused on developing new therapies for patients with devastating rare diseases. The company was founded in 2016 with technology licensed from Yale University. Inozyme Pharma is led by an experienced management team with a proven track record in rare disease drug development, regulatory approvals, manufacturing and operations. TTo perform experiments, compiles robust and reliable data, analyzes results generates complete and comprehensive reports under minimal supervision. Ensures that studies are conducted in compliance with the respective protocol and applicable guidelines and regulations. Engages coworkers in scientific discussions. Communicates data and interpretation to piers. Skilled at developing systems to ensure quality data. Skilled and/or knowledgeable in the use of standard laboratory equipment. Effectively trouble-shoots equipment and experimental difficulties. Contributes to internal/external reports, papers, presentations, regulatory documents, invention disclosure submissions and/or patents. Participates in department-wide support efforts such as safety, recruiting and committees. May train staff and/or supervise others. Coordinates and organizes resources needed to complete the task. Understands when to seek input and when to make independent judgments.
Education / Qualifications:
B.SC in relevant science or equivalent qualification Experience Years of experience in the job discipline minimum 3-6 years of industry experience.
- Excellent organizational and record keeping skills
- Capable of multi-tasking and good time management
- In-vivo experiments using small animals
- Protein isolation and analysis (cell extract, preparation, SDS-PAGE and western blotting)
- Cell based assays (proliferation, migration, apoptosis)
- Enzyme assays
- Cell culture and aseptic technique
- Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) knowledge
- Statistical data analysis
- Periastron communication and organization skills
- Highly self-motivated
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage priorities and maintain timelines for multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail along with excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential
